In 2003, whilst working as Product Manager for Medistox, a UK Bracing and Support product supplier, Stephen introduced cranial remoulding to the UK and has since been overseeing up to six clinicians who have successfully treated approximately 4,000 infants.
Medistox was acquired in 2005 by Ossur, large multinational Orthopaedic company and in 2009 working with Ossur, he developed the PlagioCare system using a lightweight portable camera and lightweight cranial remoulding orthosis which gives extremely successful results. Initially working with referrers from the NHS, the focus changed in 2004 with a private clientele emerging as the NHS established a position which was against treatment for this condition. He developed a clinic working in 10 Harley Street, London. This clinic developed from one half day on alternate weeks to three full days per week and in July 2005 a new partner was found to continue to help manage this client group.
Since this time, Stephen has managed up to six clinicians in three main and four satellite clinics. He has held the senior management role working for Technology in Motion, a subsidiary of Ossur for the whole of this time.
