Emma Fishenden
Emma graduated from the University of Salford in 2014 with a BSc (Hons) in Prosthetics and Orthotics. After undertaking her orthotics placement at the MRI and Manchester Children’s Hospital, Emma secured employment at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust Hospital. Through this opportunity, she gained a vast variety of experience and was able to develop and enhance her skillset in diabetes, stroke rehabilitation, rheumatology, paediatrics, spinal cord injury and complex musculoskeletal conditions.
Emma is a member of the British Association of Prosthetist and Orthotists (BAPO) and is registered and regulated by HCPC.
Emma thoroughly enjoys working in the orthotic industry and her passion lies with helping others. She is currently working part-time in the Wirral and runs a number of satellite clinics in the community, assessing and prescribing for a wide range of orthotic devices to help aid people’s mobility.
Emma is mum to twin girls who keep her very busy. She enjoys going to music festivals and socialising with friends and family.
