In January 2024, our senior orthotists, Steve Mottram and Sandie Waddell, were delighted to be invited to attend Strathclyde University and deliver a course to students on the Prosthetics and Orthotics Programme.
The course was organised in consultation with Dr Tony Mcgarry, who is the Prosthetics and Orthotics Programme Director and Senior Teaching Fellow for Strathclyde University.
Steve and Sandie spoke to the students on a range of topics including Understanding the differences between Plagiocephaly and Craniosynostosis presentation, an introduction to Additive Manufacturing, and an introduction to the new generation of AFO’s.
We look forward to supporting Strathclyde University again when we revisit them in January 2025.
